What we fund, and what it costs
Weekly figures are indicative, on a commercial chattel mortgage over five years with a 30% residual. They are an estimate, not an offer of finance.
What you need
For most excavators and skid steers on a low doc application: an ABN, GST registration, your licence and an assets and liabilities statement. An ABN over two years opens the widest panel — we work with shorter trading histories too, usually with a deposit or property behind it. No financials for the majority of approvals.
We are a broker, not a lender: we take one application to a panel of 23 commercial lenders and put it where it actually fits, rather than where it happens to land.
Questions people actually ask
How much can I borrow for an excavator?
For an established ABN with property behind it, well past $500,000. Without property, most lenders still go to $150,000–$250,000 on a low doc application.
Private sale or dealer?
Both. A private sale needs the seller’s ID, the registration papers and an inspection — we arrange that. Some lenders price private sales slightly differently.
Do attachments get financed too?
Yes, when they are on the same invoice as the machine. Buckets, augers, grabs and hitches are funded as part of the asset.
What if my ABN is under two years?
There are still lenders, usually with a deposit around 20% or property backing. It is a smaller panel, not a dead end.
